New for 2024! Brian is coming onboard for the new season and is helping get the 4runner running again. Keep an eye out for Brian at our first race this year!

Pit Lead and contingency driver. Colin is the owner/driver of UC Motorsports, Ultra4 car # 4680. His hands on experience in Johnson Valley is invaluable in the rugged terrain of Baja.

Colin will get in the race car if a man dumps out. He starts the race as Chase 1.

Co-Driver / Navigator. This is Cory’s first Baja 1000 race! Like Thomas and Duc, he’s lived a life of adventuring, and has driven offroad with Daron several times. They’ve had life experiences on those adventures, and he’s going to build on that experience this November.

Cory is navigating with Daron on Leg 5.

Driver. Daron is a Class 5 race car driver with multiple Baja races and years of experience. Out of all of the Baja finishes he’s had, the 1000 still proves illusive. With our goal of finishing the race, Daron gets the 5th and final leg, which is exceptionally technical leading to Ensenada.

Daron is racing the 5th leg with Cory.

Chase. Gavin has been apart of Steve’s TPM racing for multiple years. He’s coming to help Chase. He will help manage logistics in the North sections as Chase teams 1, 2, and 3 head north. His contribution will be key to our strategy at the final drivers change.

New for 2024! Jaxon is a undergrad at A&M who’s wants into the offroad racing world. We’re helping to make that happen!

GMR Manager. Kelli oversees the race team’s budget. She’s an amazing wife and will be part of Chase crew 1.

Driver / Dreamer. Nathan is the owner of Good Mayhem Racing and has poured his time and investment into making this dream happen. Join us as we share an adventure in the desert!

Nathan is racing Leg 1 and 3 with Thomas.

Chase. Ron’s prerunning capabilities will be essential to Leg #1 and Leg #2’s success. Ron is leading the pre-running efforts over 600 miles of terrain, and he’s a planner. He’s found ways to help both Duc and Nathan see the hardest parts of their sections while keeping the team as close together as possible, improving safety while in Mexico.

Ron is Chase #2.

Co-Driver / Navigator. Sam continues to be Steve’s right hand man in the seat, keeping them on course and in time. With multiple tours of service, Sam is loose and confident in foreign countries, and Baja is no exception. His foreign language skills are vital.

Sam is navigating with Steve on Leg 4.

Mentor and Driver. Steve’s experience and friendly confidence is infectious. Steve is the owner of TPM Racing and SignTek. He has raced in SCORE in many classes, from Trophy trucks to Class 10’s to Class 5’s.

Co-Driver / Navigator. Thomas works at Offroad Alliance and thinks clearly while off-roading. This is his first time racing in Baja!
